Pike & Perch.. - I love fighting those beasts. Fresh or brackish, it doesn't matter. - As long as they're biting!
I've been fishing for over 20 years already, but in March 2021, it took a turn, as I went all-in on flyfishing.. As in everything else I do, I feel better to learn-by-doing, so I haven't used an instructor, wether to learn how to cast or tie my flies. Watched some youtube, and improvised the rest.. Now I tie for a minimum of 2 hours a day. I get up 2:30 in the morning (yeah, it's night I know), and tie to improve my skills, before I go to work.. Crazy, huh?
I've made this website for several reasons. Mostly because I'd like to have an online portfolio, with my favorite pictures, catches, and memories, all placed together at one place. - And then you can have a look too. - Maybe you'd like it?
Shortly: I'm Dennis, I live with my little family in the southern part of Zealand, Denmark. We have a lot of brackish waters, where I love to spend my day.
Currently I work as a garbageman, but as every angler outthere, I wan't to live by doing what I really love, fish. - Which I hope to make happen by working hard, fish a lot, and by making some awesome partnerships, maybe you're interested? - Right now I'm some kind of building up a brand around myself, which can make me fish everyday, year after year. That's the dream, but more important than a dream: It's a goal! - I won't just dream of it, I want to work hard for it to happen.
perch is without doubt my favorite target. No doubts, AT ALL. They're such a strong fighter despite their size. Even the small ones gives a hell of a fight. And then they're beautifull as hell, that's for sure.
After perch, comes pike. The majestic top-predator in Denmark. Comes in different sizes and patterns, and are definitely a favorite target too. I still have to catch a 10+, but I've got a feeling that it will happen sooner than later.
In March 2021, I went ALL-IN on flyfishing, like, for real. Bought a starter-pack with tying-stuff, and have since upgraded a lot, I might be able to open a store I think...
So I'm actually only fishing my own flies.. Not because I don't wanna fish with others, but when I'm using so much time behind the vise, those flies are going to be used! Also, if I don't fish with my own flies, how should I find out how to improve them, right?
Thaaaats a huge subject! But, in flytying I really love hooks from Ahrexhooks, which I've been tying on from day one, and the materials comes from different brands such as TheFlyCo, FlyDressing, Hedronflashabou, Gulff, etc..

improvements in fishing is the key. noticing and learning is a must, to become a better angler.
I'm always challenging myself, you won't go anywhere, with anything in life, if you don't challenge yourself and try things out! That is why I'm spending so much time on tying flies, casting flies for 12 hours straight when I'm in or on the water.. I'm that guy that won't stop casting, unless it's time for a quick lunch. You can be damn sure, that I'm the first one to pick up the rod and continue the fishing..

With over 20 years of fishing, it wasn't until 4 years ago I started to fish more competitive. The last year I've become a much better angler, noticing ways and methods to improve my fishing. Since I've started going deeply into methods I've caught more big fish than I've ever done before, so I wonder how awesome my fishing will become still.
